With LearnDash bbPress integration, you can easily associate forums to a course and automatically grant users access to course forums as soon as they are enrolled. You can set up private forums that are only accessible to users enrolled in a course and also have public forums available to all your site visitors.
Although discussion forums may not be commonly used in self-paced online courses, we encourage you to think of ways that allow your learners to collaborate with one another. For professional development courses, online forums are a great way to build a community of practice.
